Our perfect mountain escape peaceful, pet-friendly, and hosted with care

If you’re looking for a quiet, authentic mountain village experience, this is it. We stayed in both of the two beautiful cottages hosted by Laura and Radu and couldn’t be happier. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and truly felt like a home away from home. There’s a great mix of comfort and charm—quality bedding, cozy furnishings, and plenty of space to unwind.

The hosts were fantastic , Laura speaks English, which made everything easy for us as we’re visiting from Australia. She and Radu strike the perfect balance of being helpful and available when needed, while fully respecting your privacy.

The property includes a separate shared kitchen and dining space, fully equipped, and a lovely open barbecue shelter where we spent most evenings relaxing. It’s pet-friendly too, which was a huge plus for us. The village itself is divine, quiet, friendly locals, and surrounded by nature. We went sightseeing nearby, but honestly, we were just as happy staying put and enjoying the calm.

This place is now my go-to for vacation in Romania. Whether you're traveling with pets, as a couple, or a small group, it’s a gem. Warm, welcoming, peaceful, and just easy in all the best ways. Denise Kelly, I'm loving living in Romania from Melbourne.
